It Isn’t Sandy’s Fault
Unicorns exist but I don’t have to tell you that. I wrote to Sandy during the midday and felt an unabiding frequency to run away.
“You’re not a coward anymore, you’ve got your shoes tide, you’re ready.”
But many do try to force their own apparitions on people, when they’re extra scared or they don’t understand what to say, they end up saying the wrong thing. It becomes weird.
What do you say anyways to an awkward moment?
I’m settling this debt my way, in the corner of my mind. You can try to walk out but there will always be a tiny indentation of memory that heads to dwell.
“See…you can’t take the kids to school when it’s closed, Clarissa. I know what I’m talking about.”
“Well why don’t you write it down for me next time[she closes the car door, haggling her purse to the side]. I’m going to be late for dinner. You would have remembered if you even cared,”[Sandy slowly walks, her heels clicking behind].
